The first game was built around a maximum 800x600 resolution, with monsters not seen onscreen lying dormant. Increasing the resolution reveals that a whole lot more of this world, which -- as we've seen with some FHD mods -- has creature packs sitting idly by in the corners because they technically can't see your personality.
